FAQ
Private Group Outings
Who can schedule a private group outing?
We offer daytime and nighttime private group outings. Daytime outings are geared toward small children (preschools or daycares) and nighttime outings are geared toward older children and adults (school groups, church groups, or company parties).
Do you offer birthday parties?
Sorry, but we do not offer birthday parties at this time.
When are private group outings available?
Daytime private outings are available Tuesday-Friday in October.
Nighttime private outings are available Tuesday-Thursday in October; Tuesday-Saturday in November and December. We do not offer any private group outings during public business hours.
What if I don’t have enough people for the minimum requirement?
You may still book your outing if you don’t have the minimum number of guests. A minimum charge applies. Please view the Daytime Info PDF or Nighttime Info PDF on the group outings page for more info on this.
Is there a deposit?
No deposit is required, however, we now require a credit card on file to secure your reservation. We accept cash, check, or credit card at the cashier on the night of your event. If no payment is presented on the night of the event, the credit card on file will be charged for the total number of guests that were counted.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation by the client for any reason 2 weeks or less prior to the event will result in the credit card on file being charged the minimum charge ($750.00 for nighttime outings and $420.00 for daytime outings). In the case of inclement weather, your reservation may have to be rescheduled by the venue (if an opening is available). Final decisions for rescheduling due to inclement weather will be made by the venue about 24 hours prior to the event.
How do I pay for my group outing?
We accept cash, check, or card for group outings. Please have one total payment ready for the cashier on the day of your event. We do not accept payments from each individual guest.
Should I bring my own food and drink?
Yes! Daytime private groups usually pack a lunch or snack to eat under the pavilion. Nighttime private groups typically bring hot dogs and s’mores to roast over the campfires. Alcohol is not permitted. No food or drink will be provided by the venue.
Will my group members be able to arrive and depart as they please throughout our time frame?
Your group will receive a hayride from the front parking area to the covered pavilion at the beginning of your outing and another ride back at the end. The hayride is not continuous, so we encourage everyone to arrive and depart at the same time. Guests who arrive late or leave early may be required to travel back to the parking lot on foot.
Can I bring paint, arts and crafts, streamers, or table decorations?
To prevent litter, please do not bring paint, markers, or decorations. We take great pride in keeping our farm clean and free of litter year round!
Can I bring a coffee urn or crock pot?
Sorry, we do not allow electric appliances. We suggest bringing hot drinks in a cooler or insulated dispenser.
