Meet the Family

Damian and Leia Prause are the owners of the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm. The farm has been family owned and operated since 1996. The farm has over 40 acres planted in trees and has thousands of Virginia Pines to choose from along with Cypress trees.
The land has been in Leia's family for over 100 years. Her grandfather, Milton Kleb, raised peanuts, cotton, hay, and many other things on the land. Leia's father Wayne Kleb had a dairy farm here and still raises cattle on the farm today.
The family has kept the farming tradition alive by raising Christmas trees on the land. Damian, Leia, and their son, along with Leia's dad and brother still live on the property. Damian and Leia’s children, Michael and Erin, now help run the family business and aim to keep the tradition alive for years to come.
This area looks a lot different now than it did 100 years ago. Back then it was nothing but open prairie, and you could see for miles! The only trees around were those that were planted around someone's homestead.
